One of my favorite hobby is photography. There's a common phrase, "picture is worth a thousand words", and I think that's what makes photography so valuable to me. Growing up, my family didn't take much photos. Past memories suddenly become more hazy as I got older and photography was a way for me to safeguard them. But photography has become much more than that; it's a medium I use to express my aptitude for creativity and share my vision of the world to other people. Please free feel to reach out to me if this is something you're interested in, I would love to share my knowledge!
Owning a 20 years old Japanese classic car is not easy. Things constantly break and it's not fun when you're stuck on the side of the road. But I love being able to diagnose a problem, repairing it with my own hands, and gaining a sense of accomplishment when I get the car running again. One of the biggest reason I love cars is the community it brings together. If you ever attend yor local Cars and Coffee, you'll see there's people of all ages, sex, and background all coming together to appreciate vehicles.
At one point in my life, I was over 216lbs. I hated feeling tired all the time and not caring what I put into my body. I didn't feel good about myself and it impacted my self-confidence a lot. I remember the first time I decided to step inside my local gym and feeling so out of place. But I was consistent and kept working towards my goal. Three years and 46lbs lighter, I definitely think fitness is one of my most valuable discovery. It taught me so much about hardwork, discipline, and looking at long-term goals.
